trading trunklids
Well ive been ridin around with pushpins in my trunk to cover the boltholes, since i removed my wing, but i finally found a base model black v6 stang without the wing here locally that wants to trade trunklids, im prolly gonna try this this saturday but wanted some advice from some of you guys that have maybe traded trunks or just removed a trunklid on a new edge stang, so far i think its easy but the only thing that has me scratchin my head is the key cylinder. I think its held with a rivet, so i guess ima have to drill it out and put it back on with a rivet , right? Hopefully some of yall can look under yalls trunk and tell me what you guys think, Thanx

Drill the rivets out and re rivet in the other lid. That's what I would do.

well i got the trunkswapping done yesterday, took me and my buddy almost an hour after everything was done, and mann am i so happy looking at my trunk now without those pushpins in there, plus when i took my wing off my old trunklid it had doublesided tape, which i tried removing with an eraser wheel, BUT i went to deep so it really looked F****D up, but now it looks sharp IMO.
