Tranny rebuild

hey yall, i went to the transmission place today and the guy said hes gonna hafta rebuild my transmission and get me a new clutch, how much do yall think thats gonna run me???

yeah wayyyyy too much... i went to david colbath transmission on nakoma cuz the guy who owns that place is a family friend and he said itd be around 1500

... i might also add that they never opened up the transmission or anything, this is only after one of their guys test driving my car, so he said it might need to be rebuilt, but when they open it up we'll see for sure

Maybe, just maybe you should talk to thesource and see if he would be interested in rebuilding your T-5...I hear he is pretty good. Funny thing is he is local too.
