Transmission Question
Ok My tranny went out and i took it out and took it to a shop and got it rebuilt. And i get it back and i put it back in. And now when i shift it in to 2nd it doesn't go in easy. it feels like it go's in but it isn't in i have to like almost slam it to stay in. And to get it fixed i will have to pull it back off and i was just wondering if anybody knows what is going on before i take it back off. Thanks, Jimmy

Could be multiple things. First what type of trans is it, do you have an aftermarket shifter and what type of fluid are you running? How does if feel going into 1st and 4th? Could be a slider problem, blocker ring, gear or shift fork/ fork pads if it is an internal problem.

Sounds like a problem with the slider or the fork.
