    tropical depression alex?

    any word locally in corpus christi about this? or its effect on the oil spill. Id hate for this to ruin our 4th of july weekend down there.

    If it comes in and goes east it will be a mess for LA AL MS and Fl depending on where it comes on shore. IF it goes thru the oil area it will push all that shit inland way more than just the tides so the mess will be 10 fold as far as that. Worst it will do to TX is be a hurricane as the oil is to far east of us dont see it ringing us the oil.......

    whats the reports down there? weather.com shows only like 30% chance of rain for sunday but that wont matter if alex hits directly at corpus christi.

    that would suck if it heads a little more north to corpus! yall are right in the water! i am 45 min away from south padre island so just a little wind and rain if it hits here. my buddy lives 1 mile from the mouth of the rio grande! bad thing i am sure he will be working since he is a fireman!!
