get the smoked ones, tinting them will just make you headlights useless.

yeah when you tint the headlights you can do it just like when you tint a car window, you can pick what % you want to go so in theory your headlight can still be useful to an extent...but the plastic covers barely let any let out. you can tell the headlights are on when you look at the car from the outside, but when your driving if theres no city lights on its makes you feel like you have those mini mag lights strapped to the front of your car...its really limited vision, which is why they are a safety hazard...

smoked headlights-its just a housing around where the bulb sits that is black, but it isnt illegal nor need any modification to the lights themselves, ford sells them they cam on the 01 and up stangs i believe. they look sweet even for stockers...

and adrain yeah i always have them on but remember i have those huge Roush fogs on mine so they light the living hell out of the street, they provide me with more light than the stock do anyway...but if the bulb goes out or when i had an electrical problem with them i would take the covers off at night so i could see...

im exactly opposite from ya celebratetues, i dont know shit under the hood but i can throw on kits, hoods, and "show related" stuff like its nobody's business, lemme know if ya have questions ive experienced it all almost...
