turbo 6?

ok, so yall know i goit my 85 gt stollen, it's gone and never coming back.
so, i'v been playing with the idea of a turbo v6, low boost, maybe pushing 300rwhp. no more just straight line iether, i wana make it handle. i wana do this in stages because i'll be working to save for parts.

so here's what i can think of i would need to do this;

car: 99-04 v6 5speed
stage 1:
CAI( all ready ahve one from my old 01 v6)
exhaust(just a catback for now, maybe flowmaster?)
xcal2(again, have it from my old v6, just need a new tune from justin)
wheels(undecided)

stage 2(geting ready for turbo):
coil overs
sway bars
upr & lwr control arms
cc plates
subframe connectors
ok, this is where i'm not sure what i wana do. i had the idea of geting an IRS from a cobra. It would allready have a locking diff, and it can handle the power i plan on making. it's iether that, or gears + tlok, but i'm liking the idea of an irs.

stage 3(turbo setup):
turbo kit( not sure about what brand yet)
fuel upgrades
ignition upgrades
tuned

what do you guys think? any thing i'm missing?

i'd add more bolts-ons in stge 2 to prepare for the turbo, you dont wanna blow your engine asap do you?

ehh i'd stay w/ the solid axle, but thats just me....

just wondering why you wanna limit your self w/ a 6 and only 300hp.

ok.. u wont be able to use the cai once you get the turbo kit so that's kinda dumb except you already have it so go for it.. as far as the exhaust.. if you want the irs for the handling, i say go for it but dont do the exhaust 'cause you'll have to get a cobra cat back go go around the irs... other than that, it's a good idea.. i'd say go for it, why not be different...

the CAI would be temp, untill i get the turbo setup. as for exhaust, i was thinking jsut have some flow's welded on, and dumped befor the axle. would be cheap. that, or i even thought about just cuting the muffler and run pipes.
