TWS - Car Show & High Performance Driver Education

NASA TEXAS






Pays Tribute to all American Muscle Cars Past & Present

Car Show & High Performance Driver Education
Texas World Speedway College Station – September 25-26, 2004

We would like to welcome Car Clubs from all areas
for entry level to advanced High Performance Driving.

Car Club participants get:
$200 weekend participant fee for High Performance Driving Classes
$125 for 1 day participant fee for High Performance Driving Classes
$50 Car Club session fee – We will have 1 special session per day for participants interested in getting out on the track
but not participating in the High Performance Driving

Show & Shine in TWS allocated pit area
(there will be 2 separate Car Shows – 1 on Saturday & 1 on Sunday)
Entry for Show & Shine $15.00 per vehicle
(price includes admissions for all persons in vehicle)
American Muscle (mustangs, camaros, etc.) cars of any year
“Best of Show” awards to be given Sat & Sun by the American Iron Racers

Lunchtime charity laps to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of America.
$5 donations for each driver and passenger

Spectator fee
1 day $5.00
2 day $10.00
Children 12 and under are free

We also offer Road Racing, Competition Licensing & Time Trials at $270.00 for the weekend.

To any of you guys or gals that are considering this, DO IT! I have been out to watch the racing and it is killer. But to be able to get out on the track and turn some fast laps yourself, man that would be an E-ticket ride for sure.

Word out on the street is that there will be a photo shoot mid-day with all the CMC & AI/X racecars with all the Show & Shine cars that want to participate... I think they are going to do it on the front straight on track.

This is a photo has great potential to make it into one or many magazines.

b. Show & Shine in TWS allocated pit area.
i. Mustangs and Camaros of any year and any American Musclecars eligible to
participate in the Show &Shine.
ii. AI/CMC racers will judge/vote on their favorite show cars. (Meet the
American Iron Racers!!!)
iii. "Best of Show" awards to be given Sat & Sun by the available AI racer
votes. (Sorry...no multiple day car show winners!)
iv. There will be an award for the "Internet Forum with the Most
Cars!!!"...and "Internet Forum with the Nicest Cars"!!! (i.e.- WestSide
Mustangs vs StangNet, etc.etc.)
c. Lunchtime charity laps around the track to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs
of America.
i. $5 donations to benefit charity for each driver or rider.
ii. Any vehicles allowed to tour the track at highway speeds.
d. Watch the season finale AI/CMC races as they determine their 2004
Championship drivers.
i. Main event race times will be advertised.
ii. Invitation to interested CVAR vintage A-Sedan/Trans AM cars to run with
AI/CMC.

Sample SHOW/SHINE agenda for BOTH Sat & Sunday's events:

7:00 Participant gates open.
NOTE- All Racers, Spectators and Show Cars must register at the track
office away from main gate to obtain wrist bands before entering!
Cost of entry: Registered Racers + 3 guests= free...
Spectators=$10/person...Show-n-Shine Cars + guests= $15/car.
9-10:30 Show n' Shine Club Cars arrive and park in designated area
11:00 (Approx.) AI/CMC race qualification session
12:00 AI/CMC racer-judges vote on awards for favorite cars in Show/Shine
paddock.
12:20 AI/CMC racecars and Show/Shine American Musclecars on track for
group photoshoot
12:30-1:00 BCGC charity laps around TWS ($5 coffee-can collections by
pit steward)
1:30 (Approx.) Main Event Race....AI/CMC Championship Race #1
3:00 Show Car hot laps (30 minute session for $50 fee)
4:30 AI/CMC Exhibition Race #2 with CVAR Trans Am cars
