VA Hospital Car Show!
Annual Ride A Crooked Trail Car Show being held on Memorial Day, Monday,
May 31st. This show is to raise funds for our inpatient fund accounts. Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital Merton Minter Drive next to the University Hospital. Numerous Classes from Classic to late model Time: 9-12: Registration for cars. 12-1: Visit from Silver Fox, mascot for SA Silver Stars WBA Team 12:30: Judging 9-4: Autos on display in employee parking area near ECTC Sausage wraps, chips, and soft drink will be sold for only $2.50. In the morning, there will be coffee and baked goods for sale. Nachos and soft drinks will also be sold during the day. The San Antonio Police Department will have an excellent display set up that gives advice about preventing auto theft. There will also be live musical entertainment as well as a DJ throughout the day. Vendors will have displays of car-related items, Harley items, and jewelry. There will be an opportunity to vote for your favoite car in the show and the winner will receive the "People's Choice Award". There will also be a "Director's Choice Award" given. Drawings will be held for the 53 door prizes that have been donated by various organizations and area restaurants. This will be done prior to awarding the car trophies; however, you do not need to be present to win. The LSS Mustangs could walk away with some nice prizes!!!  |
