    Vinyl Removal

    WTF is the best thing to use to remove the gluey shit left behind from vinyl.

    that shit doesn't work...FYI. Just spent 2 hours out there alternating length of time leaving it on there and it barely removed any.

    goo gone???shit that removed household paint that some girl through on my friends Chrysler Sebring, it also removed the clearcoat though

    ive got this shit at wal mart in the auto paint/bondo area. 3m adhesive remover. used to to remove sticker residue & painted on factory pinstriping without effecting the clearcoat. you can probably find it at an auto store as well.

    oh, and a lil bit of heat from a hair dryer may help to soften the adhesive up, and come off easier with the adhesive remover.

    Believe it or not I have always used crisco or olive oil. Soak the sticker or glued on items with it, then thoroughly clean with soap and water.

    +1 to goo gone not working very well. When I removed my stripes, glue was left and I got some of it off, but not all. It still needs to be waxed and buffed many months later.

    3M also has an adhesive cleaner. Thats all it claims to remove. It works well but its about $20 a quart
