Want a new drive shaft for your 07 free?

Hello everybody. I took my 07 Mustang GT to the dealer this morning to have the oil changed since it was free, and I had 1.500 miles on it. From now on it will be at 3.000 mile intervals.

But I had some questions too about my car such as the clunking sound I got from the rear end and or drive line normally shifting from first to second "5 speed manual". Other's have told me there car makes the same sounds at times. And others have told me I need to perfect my shifting style.

They were right. I have been driving a Jeep Wrangler Sahara for 8 years. Not even close to driving the new Mustang. I also had a slight buzz and vibration at 70 mph. Gillespies Shop Forman at my insistance went for a ride and I had him drive. The man is at least 80 years old!

I was real sure that this was a waste of my time. I was wrong about that too.
He has been with the company 45 years. He has raced for Ford and Dodge for many years, and for Harley Davidson and Honda. He had NO trouble shifting my car smoothly, and was not a bit shy about getting second and third scratch!!

He took it to 70 mph a few times and each time I told him so from the passenger's seat,"for the first time ever". I could feel and hear the vibes, and he agreed. He said he would check immediatly when we got back to the dealership if there was a new service note.

There is. It's new, and I was told my replacment drive shaft was allready ordered. There were severall instances where out of balance shafts were used. I believe this one is one piece this time.

Any way, if you have had this trouble too, there is a free fix for it!

All the best, Gary

Thanks for the name. Ya he told me of his Kawasaki KZ 650. I had one too, he said his son still had his CB 900 in like perfect condition. Any way, it was good to have some one with a solid background of knowlege like his taking care of my car.
