P.S. Thinking of having one made for mine....just found them yesterday on ebay when I was buying some 3ft b y 2ft. posters for my garage with Mustangs on them....thought it was pretty neat....the custom banner guy is a different person but he could make us a decent LSS banner with a logo and or car on it fairly cheap I thought....I'm gonna check my local kinko's today and see what it would run just for sh1ts and giggles....

Seemed kinda pricey but it looks like they do kick azz work....I'd LOVE to have something like those at the top done for mine......heckuva way to show off your ride.....might help win at car shows too!!! :jeff:

Margaret and I are both wanting to be a big part in helping Jason get the Houston chapter of LSS grow to be one of the biggest clubs in Houston.

I just get tired of alot of the other clubs being all about street racing and the whole"my cars faster than ur's" bullshit.

This thead by the way was not to get a meet started it was a way to get people to notice that the LSS'ers we have here in Houston need to start being part of the gtg's and such.

its so bad here in houston, that i live just down the road from mike and have yet to meet him, and I live just down the road from the HPE dyno day, and still have yet to make that. then again alot of peeps have yet to show!!!! we will see what happens this sunday, I hope to have my car out! Also, thats a "family day" for me, so I hope to get a pit pass out!

Actually, I'm all for a phone list, when I was riding with the local crowd on bikes it worked out great, and we always had a good turn out.

There's always gonna be no shows everyone has commitments, but by and large, we can make this work.

And like rene said, debra and I drive 2 hours to meet up with yas so the locals got no excuse.

Shoot, if they just showed long enough for a group photo would be cool...

Well I actually live way down the road from you now. We moved to Bear Creek Village(Clay and 6) area. We moved so I could be closer to work and we found a house that we liked with a two car garage.

About the family thing. We take our 3 yr old with us on alot of meetings he does rather well for a 3 yr old. No one is against having kids or the other half with you at all. As a matter of a fact it's a awesome thing to do IMO. Getting the family involved in something you like.

When Margaret and I met she drove a 99 4runner limited. We then traded that in on her fisrt stang a 02 GT vert. now she owns my old 03 GT coupe(must be nice to have a mid 12's DD ) but my point is that everyone loves stangs and hanging out with people. It's not limited to just "us guy's" as most people would say. As a matter of fact the only friends I have in TX are people I met that are mustang related in some way. :mick: .

for example, I look in the pic threads all the time and see these camping trips and such and 9x's out of 10 there are kids in the pics :jeff:

So anyway I think we can turn this into one hell of a chapter if we just keep working on it. We are for sure headed in the right direction. :jeff:

oh and by the way the phone list is a good idea but I also think maybe that should be in some kind of restricted access thread or something or even in the silverstar forum(speaking of which babe when you see this tomorrow and it reminds you to do so get us on that list :jeff: thanks dear) as of now though I think I have posted my number many of times in open threads and had no problems.
