Great enthusiasm. :jeff: For a while I would occassionally come down to Htown and the meets were... well, weak. :bigjnsa:

Good luck on starting to wrestle westsidemustangs of their members. It can be done but having a home base to start from is kinda essential. Nag (or ask) jeff (bandit) or mick (BlKvNm) to get you LSS business cards. I used to spam people all the time and it really helped recruit members and get people more involved.

About the family thing. We take our 3 yr old with us on alot of meetings he does rather well for a 3 yr old. No one is against having kids or the other half with you at all. As a matter of a fact it's a awesome thing to do IMO. Getting the family involved in something you like.

When Margaret and I met she drove a 99 4runner limited. It's not limited to just "us guy's" as most people would say. As a matter of fact the only friends I have in TX are people I met that are mustang related in some way. :mick: .

for example, I look in the pic threads all the time and see these camping trips and such and 9x's out of 10 there are kids in the pics :jeff:

So anyway I think we can turn this into one hell of a chapter if we just keep working on it. We are for sure headed in the right direction. :jeff:

I hear ya Mike, yes you did move far!! I love to bring the family, but the fact is she really hates the mustang seen. I'm looking to get her a notch back auto so she can atleast join in on the fun, then that may persuade her to a different level. My car is just a little to fast and a little hard for her to drive (keep in mind she can't drive 5 speed). Like she always says, if she could, I would never see it!!!! her going to a meet, is like us going to a tupper ware party, AINT gonna HAPPn. LOL WE do also have a 5 year old... see ya round. matt

I do, however, want to say that in no way are we trying to wrestle Westsidemustangs of their members. We are friends with people from both boards. To each his own. I'd just like to see LSS become a bigger group then what it is. Maybe bring in some new faces and meet new people with the same interest.

I argee, By NO meens are we trying to "wrestle away" other boards members. Just trying to get this one alot better established in the Houston area.

I would also like to have some LSS cards. I know Jason had/has some but he is on the complete other side of H-toen from us.

My wife WAS the same way till she want to a few meets with me and met alot of very cool people. Tell your wife to start out by posting on the boards from time to time she will fall in love with the greatest car/car enthusiest (sp?) on the damn planet. :blkvnm:

what up foo........my car done exploded but I got me it put back together with sum tape and JB weld.....man I'm bored, I take it you got your car back.....thanks for finding the intake....went on yesterday (whats with the mature comment on the houston scene....you don't like people talkin about getting in fist fights because their car is slow.....haha, just kidding, some things have gotten out of hand.....and Stangbang is looking to be in Sept now, completely retarded)

wouldn't mind making an event, but I work 6 days a week Fri-Wed, hopefully I will get a weekend day off in the near future.....or someone will post up far enough in advance that I can get a vacation day down...
