Well, I bought it
Bought a new motor for the Roush
MMR 5.0 Stroker VT Stage 3 Blower Cams Patriot Heads fully upgraded and forged Hoping to see something around 600 RWHP out of her till I can upgrade my tranny and fuel system and then crank up the boost. She's going in the shop Friday ![]() |

So what are you doing with the original engine then?
I hope you have done your research on what you have bought. Patriot heads are not the best of heads in the world for mod motors. I am not trying to scare you, but I do hope that if MMR (assuming it's from them) will back you up by warranty.

Awesome setup man. I kinda agree with Jody on the heads. Maybe you could sell them and put the money towards a set from MPH or VT?

He's got mad knowledge on Mustangs so I trust him plus I live at his house. LOL. The engine has less than 2k miles on it. Not bad for the $2k I paid for it ![]() |

Jody is right, Patriot heads tend to drop valves crack internally from combustion chamber to chamber and leak a lot....
just make sure you do proper break in and keep a CLOSE eye on things. congrats though, should be a hell of a ride! bring it out to biffs when installed.
