Oh, also what was the issue with Gregs choice of modifications? I noticed you said you wouldn't put them on your personal car?

this whole thread is something that never needed to be made public in the first place. It is what it is. Like everyone else has been saying, if you buy used parts, halfway expect to have shit fuck up on you. This may partially be due to the fact that Greg is a younger guy and doesnt know when enough is enough, but when a shop does work on your car, and other things happen, you cant blame everything on the shop. I am dropping my carr off at ANR next weekend to get things fixed that a previous shop never even told me was wrong, and wouldnt even communicate with me after the fact. Be glad lethal is trying to help you out after the fact. You told them to do the install on your used parts, and they did. Now you want to bith, after you went AGAINST their expert advise? (because installs and parts are what they do day in and day out?)

One day you will learn bro. You are burning bridges that never needed to be burned in the first place. No matter what is going on, dont publically flame members on the board, ive been down that road with John previously, and it always ends up in the shitter. Alot of people have helped you out on the board, and when you publically flame Lethal like you are, nobody is going to want to help you do anything for fear of their reputation gettin fucked as well..

just my 2 cents

very good advice. if you would have TALKED to lethal before posting away on a public forum your car may had been corrected by now, even on lethals dime! sounds like you didnt give them the opportunity to rectify the situation.

ok first of all this thread was not made to flame anyone. i was just trying to get opinions on if i should just try and stick this out or if i should just take everything off. when i said the shop hasnt gotten everything perfect yet was not a flame on them, i was just stating that they were having a hard time with this stuff and i didnt think it was worth it to keep going but wanted other opinions. ive even recommended lethal to other people for parts and install.

second of all these parts were new. the only thing i was told was that yall could install them and then later i got a call saying that one of the heads might leak. yes i did ask what the worst case scenario was and yall said the head will leak. i asked how yall would be able to tell and yall said that they would have to be installed first. so i was uneasy but yall said that the install could be done because theres a pretty good chance they would be fine and yall wouldnt know for sure until the end. i never got any response saying that i shouldnt install all of that on my car. i just got word that the heads had a small chance of leaking but yall said they would probably be ok. i would not have had things installed on my car that the performance shop im taking it to says that i shouldnt. this is my DD and i need something that i can DAILY DRIVE, not take have problems with all the time.

i realize that not every tune can be perfected in a day, but 8 hours originally and 2 months afterwards? that would make anyone a little concerned.

but i guess since everything has been blown out of proportion ill just be by tomorow after i get out of school to pick up my car and do the work myself. i tried just letting this thread be and letting it die once i talked to danny and had alot of stuff figured out but i guess i should have just had it locked.

and i realize you guys are busy and cant always answer the phone and i understand that and im not bashing yall for it. good job getting all of the business, its just hard to get ahold of you, but everyone here knows that and they are fine with it. im used to calling all the time until i get an answer, and if i had my car i would have just driven over there. but unfortunately i dont have my car at the moment.

and bigJ, i did talk to lethal. everything i had said was me trying to get opinions on what to do. i tried just leaving the thread and letting it die off once i talked to danny but i forgot that other people will keep it going. ive been out of this thread since my last post, i didnt know any of this 2 pages of ranting had been going on until someone alerted me of it.

Mods: lock and delete the thread.

everything you said WAS flaming no matter how you look at it. Watch what you say in public places. Just because you didnt mean it the way we took it, obviously means we didnt take it the way YOU meant it. Have this thread locked, enough damage has been done.

Anytime you modify a vehicle from stock specs , you chance reliability and drivability issues . Some mods have larger issues than others but almost all mods have some type of consequence to them being installed . I use to run into this very same crap when I had my performance shop and its one of the biggest reason I chose to shut it down and just build transmissions .

mustangmelish, i dont mean to sound like i was flaming you. i took the points that you made, and commented my opinion. if you dont want public opinion, dont make a post asking advice or opinions if you cant handle others take on your proposed situation.

i have absolutely nothing against you or lethal, and dont stand a thing by either party concerned. i was just stating my opinion, based on what information was posted.

I think you have every right to be mad. But not at us! I have plently of headaches with my cars but I have learned CHEAPER PARTS is not always better. Of course we do labor cheaper I have 3 cars 2001 TT WS6,2002 Z06 with a P1SC and the 04 cobra and I can tell you right now I have learned HARD lessons doing mods. Think about what your V6 was designed for and what you have done to it. We feel like you have publicy slapped us in the face and then you come to the shop and THE OWNER takes his time to fix your car and then we come on here and read all of this. Lets just say we was mad as you saw in his posts. Its over with and done. Feel free to take your car where ever you want. And Ill say this again! No one is perfect and in this business the shop is always the bad guy untill the whole story is spoken. I wish you nothing but good luck. Happy modding.

I think we need a free for all thread where the V6'ers can battle it out with the real Mustang guys .
