i'm pretty sure we all know that...
but i know i have a 6, and i know i dont have anything to prove because i'm not going to waist money trying to mod it to be able to have a chance with a GT.

Lighten up just giving you a hard time. If I was serious I wouldn't of said jk. Like I've said I seriously have respect for anyone who modifys their car. Be it a 6 cylinder or whatever. I might not agree with the choices but whatever.

All bullshit aside , modding a V6 really isn't worth it in the long run . Sure there are V6 cars running around that can put a stomping on a STOCK V8 car but those cars are few and far between not to mention the money they have spent to do so .

This thread is a perfect example of what NOT to do with your V6 Mustang. These cars like their bastard bigger SN95 brothers do not take well to cam swaps and a person must learn to live with certain drivability issues when doing a cam swap even with a tune on it . If you want to make power with your V6 powered car , you need to add a power adder like a super charger or turbo and leave the camshaft alone in the car .

I went to a dealership looking for a GT and the car salesman tried to put me into a V6 with an exhaust system and I said no and he said whats the difference and I left. Oh and the guy that started this thread I have 3 words DEE,DEE,DEE.

There really is no comparison between the two . My wifes 07 Gt will flat out run for a stock car and there is no way some V6 is going to out run it while having the comfort and drivability her car has while pulling down 25 mpg too .

are we talking about just daily driving or power wise.? daily driving then yea a mustang is a mustang really. Point a to point b. But power wise and modability. No discussion needed. If you really think a v6 is just as good as a v8 honestly, you're kidding yourself. thats why they put the v6 in the base model and the v8 in the GT

Yeah but even the PI 2V stuff can't hold a candle to the new 3V engines and never really could against the 4V .

You should have asked him how much he had in it then double that number because it will probably blow up after it leaves his shop .
