well at least i have a mustang. so i'm happy about that. because i like hanging around everyone (well mostly) who has a mustang. So i'm at least happy i have a stang, compared to having anything else, especially a honda

yeah hondas are great at a DD, great gas milage and they will last 100k with only doing oil changes every 8k+ miles

says every idiot that has one and ends up bringing it into the local dealer saying my (fill in part or system here) stopped working. i did all the oil changes. and then when asked if they did any other maintenance to the car, their response is... no, i didn't. i work for Acura (upper range of Honda) and when i was in service, i heard that crap all the time.

it was an exageration... come on now. Compared to what has to be done on a mustang.

well the sales guys need to stop saying it...when i was buying my chicks car every honda sales man said the same thing. Ended up buying a corolla and havent had any problems as long as the basic maintenance is done

i know what you were saying. it's just flawed logic. that is the common misconception with hondas. and salesman are idiots. at least most of them are anyway. the one thing anyone in the svc dept at any dealer knows is that a salesman will promise the moon and leave the svc dept to deliver the stars. but i know that you were exagerating. unfortunately there are people out there that really do think that way.

yeah they actually lost the sale on the honda civic because of their lying. I know they are relaible but they tell you stuff like and i quote " You dont have to do anything on this car for the first 100k except change the oil" I was like WTF are you serious. and then my chick wants it and I am stuck trying to explain thats a lie because NO BRAKES, TIRES, etc will last 100k miles. So I ended up buying her a corolla

rsx-s's are actually nice cars. if i had to own a FWD import id prob go for that. and ya you do get good gas mileage. my grandma drives an rsx. too bad its not a type s :P haha

Honda makes a great car for a DD but once again dollar for dollar a BIG 3 V8 will outperform it hands down . The biggest plus to buying a Honda is you can pretty much guarantee it will hold it value better than just about any mid priced passenger car on the market including most Mustangs .
