well i have almost completely made up my mind
i think im going to take off my heads and intakes and put my stock ones back on. ill prob leave the cam because i dont think i got my stock cam back now that i think of it. ive been having way too many problems since getting these put on and the shop hasnt gotten everything perfect yet. i need my car to be more reliable so think the time has come.

im going to talk to the shop about it and see what they say about doing it, but i may end up just doing the work myself.

alot of people told me so.

and i would love to take it to another shop such as anr, but i dont have that extra money to pay. if lethal wont agree to disassemble for a decent price, or no price, since their work has caused this many problems, then im just going to say screw it and do it myself.

lethal needs to either step up and make your car right or put it back to stock sans the cam.

I agree, Lethal needs to stand by their work good or bad and fix it for you.

.... it depends on whether or not you had Lethal perform any modifications that were contrary to their advice.

If they told you to skip the Cam, and you had them put it in anyway, then it's YOUR BAD; however, if they advised you, selected it, and installed it, then they need to make it good ...

Yea.....if a shop did the work and it hasen't been right after there work......then i would hope the shop would hold up and correct it.......word gets around that shop F-ya....can possiably hurt there business, shops build there reputation off word of mouth and the work they put out on the street with customers cars......hopefully they will help ya figure it out......my 2 cents good luck dude

nice choice greg, im not gonna say i told ya so because you have suffered enough lol. so when u makin the step up to v8?

well i took the h/c/i to them and asked them if they could do the install they said yes. didnt say anything about how i shouldnt put something on. they said ok and did the work and ive been having problems since

well, if you bring something to them and tell them to install it, i dont know how much ground to stand on. you, ultmately decieded which h/c/i setup you wanted to go with. you paid for those parts. the reponisbility lays on your shoulders, i believe. a knowledgable mustang specialist should have pointed out that your setup may not work well together, but you brought everything to them and just asked them to install it. if you would have bought those parts through lethal (and based on them suggesting them together) and then they installed it, i think the responsibilty would fall in their lap.

sad to say, this may be an expensive lesson.

thats my point. its not the work thats giving you problems, its a bad combination of parts that dont work together. at least, thats what im picking up from all the "i told you so" posts. and if they installed the parts properly, and they dont work well together, how is that lethals fault?

the parts should work together. everything was brand new. theres no reason that they shouldnt work together. thats why its the work. i had the new pushrods/springs/retainers for the cams. the heads and intakes were both stage 2 from the same place, lethal got the rest of the things (gaskets/bolts/etc) they called me saying that one of the heads might leak but once they got it on and everything then they said it was fine. when they said it might leak i asked if we should go ahead with the install and they said ya because they dont know if it will leak until we start up the car (but when we started it and tuned it and everything they said it wasnt leaking) so they did advise me on that, but they said it should be (and finally that it is) fine and i got the parts brand new but ive still been having problems since this install.

thats what sucks about lethal, i have tried to call them like 2 or 3 times over about a yrs time, with no answer lol. iv found the best way to reach them is n LSS. but its about a 1-2 day turn around on your answer
