Well, just glad it was the LX....
Number 2 reason I don't drive the Cobra every day here in SA...yesterday a rock flew up and hit the LX' windshield and created 3 inch crack -- it is now up to 15 inches or so. I'm not real upset because I NEEDED a new windshield anyway, but would have had np driving it like it was...glad it wasn't the Cobra.
Oh well...anyone got windshield replacement hook ups? -Mick |

Theres a place next to Pick n pull that does them cheap. Got one put on the LX for about $130 new.

just dont follow trucks. i know sometimes you get stuck, but what i usually do if i CANT get out form behind the truck, i just start going slow so someone else will pass me and get in front of me and they take the rocks... haha :jmg680:

sucks man, the LX windshield should be cheaper than the cobra or wagnum would have been since its a tad smaller
just think of it this way... you've got a new mod for the LX, its a safety mod

Like someone said, be careful when following, especially trucks. I had the windshield in my Mazda 3 replaced a few months ago to the tune of 445 dollars. Now the windshield in my SVTF needs replacing.
 Looks like about 380 bucks. Looking back, I think if I hadn't followed a truck too close, it wouldn't have happened. Good luck to you getting it fixed and I hope it doesnt cost you much.

Thats what happens to daily drivers.. your lucky you didnt hit a deer or your hood flew up or someone backed in to you or it got keyed... Hell i could go on with things that have happend to my Daily driver..
