People at work always talk about that place. Where is it? and is it a red neck bar?

It's located on 1604 near Bab****. Basicly, across the street from UTSA.

It's not a redneck bar. It's just a very casual place many people from college students to business people come to hang out and relax.

If you like choices, this is your bar. When it comes to beer, if Hills and Dales doesn't carry it, it's probably not worth drinking. A traditional Texas roadhouse, Hills and Dales has pool tables, darts, a jukebox, and an awesome assortment of bottled beers from around the world including Japan, Germany, Ireland and Australia –- to name just a few. And they've got local favorites, as well as a large assortment of specialty beers like Foster's, Guinness, Harps and many more. The patrons are a unique mix of college students, casual professionals and bike fans. You can expect to hear live amateur music at anytime, and Wednesday nights are unofficial 'bike nights' so you can expect the place to be filled with the hottest motorcycles in town.

I know, I know. I'm just going by geography. Going clockwise, I consider anything on 1604 between 90 and 151 west side, 151 to I-10 is north west, I-10 to 281 is north central, 281 to I-35 is north east, I-35 to 90 is east, and everything below 90 is south.

Could call it the "Outer Westside."

In years past (the 1960s) the "West Side" was an area just West of downtown and a place you didn't want to be in, especially at night, if you valued your life.

I gotta go home right now. Just found out some kid hit my son in the head with a bowling pin. If everything is alright, I'll be there.

Thanks to all who came out (bucho, SATX_Mystic, RaceRat). I had a great time. John, I owe you some brews.:mick: Think about next week. We can do the H&D thing again or go somewhere to eat. Whatever's fine with me.

Also, my son's fine. He has a bruise/bump about 1.5" long just above his left eye. Other than that, no more brain damage than normal. He even tried to use it as an excuse to get out of doing homework. It didn't work.
