wet sanding question
I have 3 paint drips for the wheels, I also have some 2000 grit paper, when doing this, do I constantly need water running over while sanding, or alternate water and sanding, I know to basically just use the weight of the block as the only pressure...any info would be greatly appreciated

Like bighoss said, don't let it go dry, but it's also important to keep a clean surface - keep dipping the sandpaper in water, and wipe the surface with a clean paper towel every so often to make sure you're sanding with the sandpaper and not the sanded paint. Also, beware of edges, as paint is very thin in sharp-edged areas, and you can rub through no matter how fine your sandpaper is.

I'm not sure I do when it comes to my real car, but I do it on my model cars all the time.
**Wetsanding Horror Story** My b/f had some stickers on the scoop of his SS when he bought it...we tried to take them off, ended up having to wetsand the adhesive since it had set into the paint (Phoenix sun will do that) Well, here's where we discover something...Many SS's have one-stage paint on the hood and spoiler, since SLP got behind. This may be the reason that certain colors, ie red, or his orange, fade differently on the hood and spoiler than the rest of the car, which is two-stage (base+clear) It is easy and relatively safe to wetsand on clearcoat, since you're not actually removing any color, and clear polishes out nicely. One-stage...not so much. Now, because someone thought the SS should say "RAM AIR H.O." on the hood, we have to get it repainted, as the sanded paint is much darker than the surrounding paint.
