What are the best set of springs?

To go on an 03 GT. I want a cleaner stance. Ride height is stock right now, and it will have 17X9 in the front and 17X10.5 in the rear DD bullits

Are there any springs that lower the car, but dont mess with the suspension too much?

Anywhere local to get a good deal to give a sponsor the bid-ness instead of gettin them cheaper online?

well the eibach sportlines are nice but with some clearance problems on certain roads. eibach pro kit is nice but sportlines have a nice stance.

i just installed the Eibach Pro's on my 03 vert. nice ride and no clearance issues. running 235/45/17s on the front and rear. they give it a nice even stance and better response.

I run the BBK Progressive springs..... I really love the way it sets the car down in the dirt, but still has a nice ride for being so low

If you go over an inch you will need caster/camber plates. I have owned a few mustangs and my favorite springs are H&R. I had H&R SS Springs on my mach and the race springs on my 03 cobra. Just got some SS springs in for my gt. Here are some pics of my old mach and cobra, neither car had iso's in

No I never added them, I only had the car with the springs for 2-3k miles then put the stock ones back on when I sold it. If I was keeping it I would definately add the plates

I have H&R SS, the lower H&Rs. You will need caster camber plates and you Should put aftermarket struts and shocks with them.

Wink

I've got the Eibach sportlines which have more drop than the pro springs. This being the only lowered car I've ever owned or rode in, it has a harsh ride; however it handles like a mofo with KYB AGXs, Energy suspension bushings, and nice BFG rubber. It's a compromise I guess. Your exhaust setup will also play a role. I've got Flowmasters which are big and hang low, so some speed bumps are an issue pretty often. Biggest problem has been steep driveways, especially at businesses!!

Here's a link to pics of my car formerly owned by another member:

I'm running H&R Super Sports with the same wheel/tire combo. I also have koni adjustables and Maximum Motorsports C/C plates. Love this combo, only thing I had to do was roll the fenders because of how wide my Goodyears are

changed my wheel choices, I am going to go with 17X9's all the way around. What spring would work best for that combo?

The same spring as you would use on the other wheels?

you had to roll your fenders to fit a 275, or are yours wider? how much did your springs lower your car from stock?

nope, with the 315's I had to. I think it was 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" for H&R SS's
