replace #8 piston for sure, maybe all of them if part of the piston and ring scratched the cylinders. might be looking at a 308ci son! haha..i've exhausted this poor block thats only a year old.
get an xtreme energy comp cam--wanna go from 295/332 to maybe 310/340??? hell, maybe even throw a little bit of timing at it and then who knows?

this year, hmmm with lots of deployment money.....
ok, she's getting BBK long tubes, a catted X and maybe a catback of some sort (still have decided) on the 24th, PSI is doing the work now here's what I have planned: 3.73's, 31 spline axles, FRPP diff and rear cover H&R super sports and bilsteins all around floormats new foglights new tint stereo come reenlistment bonus time, I'm using a small chunk of it to add: Corbeau seats new carpet Vortech or Procharger or heads, cams, intake and bottle combo (haven't decided) and then since I'm being deployed yet again in 2008, she'll get some new paint ![]()

Well I bought a 302 w/carb set up awhile back, it was said to have had a fresh rebuild and was ready to go. I sent it to a machine shop anyways, and just found out, it was far from a fresh rebuild, and it had a backyard hone and someother cheap things, rings worn out, pistons flatened out. Oh yeah it also has the worst flowing stock heads ever.
So plan right now, is bore the 302 over to 306, new pistons, lots of new parts, have the bottom end built. Then hopfully get some aluim. heads and throw on the intake and carb I have. Going to get a fuel system on the car, and get it running for now, with the 302 thats in there; just to work out little things with the fuel system. There is some other things, just cant remember right now. |
