What are your car plans for this year?
Ok, now that we are about a month into the new year...have any of y'all made any new years resolutions about your car? Planned mods? Track time goals? HP Goals? etc?
4.10's(already in) Wheels Tires & New Seats(will have by weeks end) UCA's & LCA's Full Length SFC's Longtubes Granatelliti Tubular K-Member, Adjustable A Arms, Coilovers(Front haven't decided on what rear springs) S281 wing Repaint/2-tone If i can somehow pull a couple grand out of my ass, i'll pick up some B heads and have them ported in preperation for next years mods 2008: T56 Procharger(12psi) Forged Pistons/Rods Blower cams

Me, Nothing to the MACH.
The 85: Already ordered and or have the following to start: Complete 5 lug conversion with 96 cobra rear axle and 95 cobra frt spindle/calipers usiing the stock rotors from the mach for 4 whl disc as well. All parts for this in the garage already. Maximum Motorsparts tubular K member <(what U need Timah instead of Granetelli) Maximum motorsports Springs and KYB shocks. shocks came in last week K member and springs due this week. Maximum motorsports Weld in roll cage to be ordered soon as well. Then hopefully ($ wise) new 351W based 392 stroker motor and other goodies to go with it. Staying carb'd and N/A as well. I would like to get it up and running by yrs end but we will see I got a long way to go to get there.

Just some small stuff...finish lowering it (just need shocks/struts)...finish the stereo (need a deck then I can install it all)...wheels...new fuel filter....tint...maybe a forged 4V...you know, basic tinkering here and there

Finish what I started at the end of last year and hope I don't get anymore ideas of what else I too do while I'm there. Keep in mind all this started with a small oil leak that got on my nerves.....
Paint & body : replace convertible top, shave all holes in engine bay, front bumper stalker, rear cobra, 3" hood, replace all light housings, color undecided Interior: swap out too all black Wheels: New sitting in the garage till car is out of paint. Engine: Drop in the 347 which is pretty much complete minus some valve covers, oil pan, and other lil things. Rear end: change from 5lug drum to disc, 3.73's That's all I can think of for now. |

get insurance *
run the car down the track * get some slicks * dial the suspension in replace the 5 blown lifters on the # 1 3 4 cylinders maybe go solid roller mid 600 lift and matching springs roll bar hit 10.60's on pump gas spray a 250 shot with race fuel and try to keep from shitting myself ![]() gear change to 3.9 or 3.73 * means thing that have been done ![]()
