FWIW, those who said K&N on stock plastic have it right. Unless you get a good deal used or something save your money. Power difference will not justify the cost, especially for something like the C&L. I just wish someone had told me that before I wasted my money on one.

With the money you save get some gears, lower your car, get a tuner... Something else.

The C&L with the MAF really wasn't worth it? I was actually considering it, because I thought with the bigger MAF, it would make a big difference... guess not huh...

Hell, they should make the whole thing out of CF. It would look good, be strong as hell, and have a ton of heat transfer protection.

So does that use the stock filter/K&N or a different style?

Nice underhood. Maybe a chrome fuse box cover and Steeda alternator bracket to add to it?

Not on mine it wasn't.. It didn't yield any more power than a K&N would after having to tune around the jacked up A/F ratio it causes. The gains they advertise is because it leans the vehicle out drastically, once you add fuel to bring it to safe levels you lose all of what you gained. I had a tune written for it anyways, so I left it on, but I wouldn't do it again.

Here's a pic from shortly after I put it on.. Forgive the dirty bay..
