What could it be?
I know this is kind of vague, but I got somekind of leak in my 2000 Stang.
After the car has been running for a while on a warm/hot day there is a slight drip towards the front passenger side. I notice that the radiator coolant is a little lower. My car isn't overheating nor has it ever moved from the middle of the gauge. After moving the car it appears that it isn't water. It left a few stains on the driveway(not oil of course). One of my friends believes it could be a radiator or heater hose. Another believes that it could be the heater core. Any other suggestions, or estimates on costs if y'all have had a similar situation. I'm going to take the Stang in for a tune on Fri, but would like a heads up on how much I'll probably have to fork out of my wallet in addition to the tune. I know without a proper diagnosis it's hard to give an estimate, but any help is welcome. |

If it was slightly green I'd pretty much pin-point it to the radiator. I think in the morning I will place a pan or something to catch some of the fluid....that way I'll have a clearer view of the problem.

The leak is coming for slightly behind the wheel(as seen in the "ghetto" pic), and about a good "arms length" under the car(passenger side).
I got a pan and checked the liquid it's water, so it's not radiator coolant. The water was cool, it didn't burn my hand. If it's water then could it be the A/C, and if it is the A/C then how much water should be dripping before it's a problem. |

a/c. and you'll probably hear a slight hissing-type sound when it hits the passenger side header also
