What's the best sounding muffler?

I'm looking for something that is more deep & aggresive that what I have now. I have a 1990 GT with a bbk headers, o/r x-pipe & dynomax bullets dumped. Don't mind that they are loud but want something that sounds deep & aggresive.

Does Bassanni sound good on a 5.0? I like the way they sound on a 4.6 but not sure how they sound on a pushrod motor.

Mustang Exhaust
Asking what the best sound is, is like asking what everyone's favorite food is, your gonna get all kinds of answers.
imo, the 2 chamber/h-pipe is so played out, but it sounds pretty good.
I run 3 chamber flow's and x-pipe dumped, get's complimants everywere i go.

The h-pipe gives a deeper sound than the x imo, you might look into spintech's, or mac's.

good for mid 12's on stickies.

He has an o/r x-pipe with magnaflow mufflers.

I have magnaflow's too and love the deep rumble. Bassani or Macs will be lounder, but to me, they are too raspy. It all depends on what you like, but for me and Boyd Coddington, it's magnaflow!

O/rX with Magnaflow catback on a 4.6.

I don't know what to tell you about a 5.0. Maybe come out to biffs sometime and listen to some cars.

I'm running the race bullets now but not happy with them. I want something just as loud but deeper. SSS exhaust will have some mufflers for a 5.0 in about a month.
