what's under my gt emblems??

I bought some fender emblems for a Bullit which I assume are the same for a V6, but I'm hesitant to put them on because I don't know if the holes match up under my GT emblems. This is a 96 btw. Info?

I believe the cobras do have centering holes if I am not mistaken.......now the gt's don't.........pretty sure they do though........look up oem cobra emblems on ebay and you should be able to tell by the pic.........

i've allways been told that GT's have holes too

Bullitt side emblems are the same as 99-04 GT's.

94-98 GT's have holes and 99-04 GT's have holes. and no, they do not line up.

So you take the new emblem, hack off one of the knobs (or both) and then stick it on and try to cover the holes the best you can. I think the 99-04 GT will cover all of the hole(s) on the 94-98.

when I ordered the emblems for the Bullit, I was sent the running horse and red/white/blue bar. The reason I got that is becasue a Bullit that I had on the lot had the same emblems. I've seen Bullits with GT emblems but again when I ordered I was sent the Horse. I wasn't sure what they came with. There is one larger hole under my GT, and the Horse had the larger and smaller posts. I eliminated the smaller post and It worked fine. The only thing is now every one gives the car a second look becasue they see this V6 that sounds like a GT. Until they look at the rear bumper of course. Also less assholes try to race me. Kind of cool.
