what type of mass air unit?

i have a 97 v6 mustang odered a intake kit dut it needs mass air unit what type should i get?

make sure you get an air meter that matches you injectors i.e. 19 lb. per hour injectors the air meter also needs to match that.

unless you go power adder you don't need a larger MAF. it'd be a big waste of money for only a couple hp if you're lucky. you could benefit from a larger throttle body however. you stock is 56mm. the 99+ v6's have 60mm and is what you'd need if you wanted. however, you don't need anything at all to install the cold air. both your MAF and TB will bolt up lickity splitz. :pickle:

What intake (i'm assuming CAI) requires you to get a Mass Air Unit? This is already installed by factory. It should bolt up to your factory MAF. Don't get another MAF unless you have mods to justify it.
