thanx anyways, i might go ahead and purchase that little plate frm UPR since i just got word my local track will be closed this weekend and wont be havin a TNT night till the beginning of november, one more thing when installing the lil plate should leave it on permanently or just for track purposes?

I dont know I have seen post on different forums about people saying it will effect the gas millage. but I had mine on all the time and never noticed a differance.

Hey I have a buddy that went 12.6 @ 107 and 1.8in the 60ft.....with bolt ons, sticky tires, 4:10 gears, shorty headers and a stock tune......

Many people will call bull shit on that, but i sure wont, since ive seen similiar Gt's hit high 12's with just bolt ons, slicks and def. 4.10s.....even though i know for a fact im not close but if i would've done 4.10s, and if i could do some E.t streets i would prolly be hovering in the low 13s... maybe

these 12 second GTs with minimal mods usually have drivers that are better than 99% of this forum by far and a car that weighs ~3000 pounds or even less.

Gears/ Tire/ Light car/ Driver... its not rocket science

I ran 12.81 at 106 when my car made 246/290 I had these ingredients... well i only had 3.73s which hurt.

Thumbs up to run 12 s on pi motor

first i got the slp long tubes n loud mouth
short throw shifter
4.10 gears
c&l plenuem n 75mm throtle body
k&n cold air intake
steeda underdrive pullies
sct tune from murrillo
slicks size 26x15
steeda upper n lower control arms
took all the seats out except drivers seat duah n spare tire all extra weight out

my best with these things was 12.78 at 104 mph oh yeah and mine is auto no stall yet at the time ,

i could off added a mezier electric pump and probably got 12.5 but i got vortech and went 11.4 at 113.00 mph
