when changing a clutch....

is it nessesary to change the quadrant when changing out the clutch or is it still ok to use the stock one.

No need to change it unless you are upgrading to an alum and a firewall adj or yours is stripped. My 85 has the original still in it

I put the Alum quad in when I did a clutch on my 91GT. The metal one ate up 2 clutch cables. Make sure that if you put one in to smooth out the edges with a dremel.
