I dont think there is a relay, but I think your talking about the flasher. It looks like a round relay. It is either on the front of the fuse panel or on the back of it. On my 88 it is in the rear, but Ford moved it to the front at a certian year but I cannot remember when.

I think the blinkers go to a fuse. Remove your fuse panel(if you have one) and on the back it will tell you what's for what

i just looked up in my chilton what you are discribing. it says: check the fuse. replace if defective. check the flasher by substition. check for open circuit, short circuit or poor ground. about the flashers: 2 flasher units are used. 1 for turn signals, 1 for hazards. the turn signal one is mounted on the instrument panel reinforcement above the fuse panel. the hazard flasher is mounted in the fuse panel. as for the fuse for the turn signals, it is in socket #5 and should be a lt. blue 15 amp fuse. (location of socket #5 is the second row, first slot on the left - its vertical) it also controls back up lamps, fluids module, heated rear window relay. hope this helps. good luck

Yup, you have a blinker flasher and a hazard flasher. Always check fuses before doing anything else.
