Where's a good get away place in SA/Austin

I'd like to suprise my g/f with a weekend away from corpus. Where's a cool place to get away in the SA/Austin area? Thinking of maybe the hill country or something. LMK where are some good places to get away too.

Median lake is a great place for a get away! If you want PM me and I'll give you directions to a really nice secluded little spot that myself and friends frequent with pits and picinic tables!

Concan out in Uvalde. Or, if you're into camping...Garner State Park has some nice areas as well.

Here's a link where you can rent out cabins on the lake. I do have to say lake water is much different than ocean water. It doesn't leave you feeling sticky or tasting salty and you can go tubing thats fun. Or you can just come up to San Antonio and visit our Riverwalk....do some clubbing it's kinda pricey but nice if your not from here.

Any of the lakes starting at canyon north through to austin! (just ride 281 north lol)

LBJ lake.. Inks lake, perdanallis falls, blanco city, (lake), Buchanon...

all of those places have nice bed and breakfast type things, and usually there are a good bit of things to do near there as well!
