everyone thinks you need a drive on lift, you dont have to have one for sub's if they know their stuff.

+1, I saw one so bad one of the wheels hardly touched the ground! (which is why you don't do it on mismatched jackstands )

its a myth that you need a drive on lift.

If the lift is properly positioned there is no extra twisting of the car its all in WHERE you lift the car from.

If you lift the car from the controll arm mouting points in the rear on the rear end and then from the front controll arm in the front then the load is EXACTLY the same as when the car is sitting on the ground and you are putting the weight of the car in the SAME places.

The k member the rear end and the shock tower.

If you see one of our sub frame installs you would under stand ..

As i said WE TIG them wich is a way stronger weld and we dont weld them in small spots we weld the entire length of the subframe.

We charge 140 two hours labor but if you see the install of a set you will understand why..

We dont just jack them up to the car hit it with a 2 inch mig weld and then let the car down.

The full length subframe installed including the part run 239

See even dean says it's a myth.
I understand everyone's concern about that, but if your on a non-drive on lift, just check the doors trunk/hatch, make sure everything opens and closes and your good to go.
But yea jackstands would be a bad idea, ever tried welding, laying on your back? ouch lol...
Btw, I had mine welded one at a time, from two different shops, first shop ran out of argon while welding the first one. So i took it to the old "team extreme" where dean USED to work and they fixed me up, and repaired the crap the first shop did.

Between the parts (full length with torque boxes) and the install at Lethal, I'll be spending about $170...
