Look, there are as you see many opinions on what is required to lower the car. As in everything there is the right way, someone else way, and the wrong way. I am going to give you my take on the Right Way.

Springs of course
Shocks/Struts the factory ones will not last long once lowered. Tokico D-Specs are a great choice, i went with the FR500c's though
Adj. Panhard Bar, I also suggest upgrading to the stronger Brace

LCA Relocation/Anti Squat Brackets
Camber Bolts, Although new adjustable mounts/plates is the BEST route to go.

Adj. UCA and Mount to correct pinion angle

I highly recommend CHE Suspension parts.

I have the FRPP springs on my car for over a year now with no problems whatsoever.

I had C springs on my 2k for like 100k miles with no rear end or front end problems

Yup and if you aren't having any Caster/Camber problems then who really is the authority on the right way of doing it.
Some magazine trying to sell you these parts or us that have actually done it and not experienced any problems with em.

i didnt post BS. Just throwing springs on there will only effect looks. whats the point in lowering if its not gonna handle any better. and you misspelled "recommend"

There is a HUGE difference between 'having' to do all of the crap you said compared to 'Should for performance'

well, if you just replace the springs, your going to have premature tire wear and shock wear. plus, if you do actually measure, your rear end will shift slightly when you lower with out an adjustable pan-hard bar. this puts so much unneeded stress on your drive train.

When I put the springs on my 2k GT I drove it for over 100k miles and had no issues with tire wear, rear end shift, or shocks.

Now my 06 GT has been lowered for 20k miles. It was done by a pro, not in my driveway and it was professionally aligned to check it out! I didnt need anything else done to it. So I cant see where you info is coming from

Thanks for the info but i think im just gonna do springs, cc plates for now. The milimeters that my rear end will shift wont bother me.

well YOU f8cked something up then if you managed to get your diff to leak. I know that when you instlal springs you need to check you alignment. Some people need cc plates some don't. But just because you get springs doesn't mean you NEED all that crap. Hate to burst your bubble.

i didnt fuck anything up, i know 3 other guys that it happened to.

and if you just throw springs on, your going to regret it. you dont NEED anything else to put on springs.

but thats like saying you dont NEED a purge valve, or window switch to install nitrous.

1 1/2 yrs later Still aint regreting it and even if tomorrow something happened to my differential it would be stupid for me to say Oh it was the springs. What about the two thousand plus freakin burnouts I've put on it since I put the springs on. I didn't need CC plates either and never have I had and bad tire wear. So i don't know why any of your friends had issues with these spring, unless they did a massive drop like maybe 2 to 2 1/2 inches in which case they are probably going to need a new front lip too since they will probably rip that off at the first speedbump..
