Whine Noise thru speakers

I installed the an aftermarket radio on my 2000 Mustang GT, I eliminated the amp up front and splice into the factory according to the schematic for the 460 mach. I still retain the rear amps but I get this whining coming from the speakers. It's really getting on my nerves and changing the ground to a different place doesn't seem to help. Anybody have a solution?

Its your alternator causing it you can get a filter from like radio shack (i forget what it is called) to eliminate the noise.

Might wanna shield the power/ground from the speaker wires. It's common to have this kind of issue when you're routing RCA Jacks to a rear mounted amp along the power line also. When you separate the cables, the noise should go away.

Since you did just the radio, try shielding the power cable and see if that works.

Same here! That is what we did to stop the whine when we installed my stereo!
