I dont think any shop will do it because they can get charged with a BIG fine if they get caught. Most shops just say no.
yea i checked some shops and they say no but im looking for someone that would do it![]()
its all about who ya know when it comes to this type of thing. gotta make a friend!!

Mine runs no cats, and even with a tune my Check Engine light is on ...
Since you're in Houston, any referral we'd make from S.A. won't be worth much to ya ... check around your city - the rougher side of town, and find an exhaust shop. Coin speaks the universal language of CATS Removal! LOL!

better off just keeping your stock H-pipe and buying an off-road H or X. they can be had for around 150 and you can bolt your stock H back up when inspection time comes around. as for the CEL, just get some MIL eliminators and plug them into the o2 sensor harness inline. i have been running MIL eliminators for 6 years with zero check engine lights.

Fathom the odd hypocrisy that Obama wants every citizen to prove they are insured, but people don't have to prove they are citizens.
If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you weren’t a racist, you’d better vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot.

Can you weld?
Do you have basic mech skills?
If yes to both remove the mid pipe from the car. Take your sawzall and cut them out (1 at a time) Measure the od of the pipe and the length you need goo see your local muffler shop have them cu and flare you some peices and re weld them in. Problem solved. Or you could go the easy route and just pick up an off road mid pipe and bolt it in the car either way no more cats.....
Personally I prefer an aftermarket catted pipe with hiflow cats. That way you avoid the stink common to running no cats However you gain the flow improvement and still are "legal" for inspection.
