SassyCassy's guy :P

The jiffy lube guys kept telling me that if I switched to synthetic or 5w30 oil it would void my warranty. The Ford dealership always put some sort of natural 5w20 in. Now that my warranty is expired, I've switched to synthetic 5w30.

My name is ED,My mom calls me special,I dont know why?

As long as the oil meets the MFG SPECS. called out in the owners manual the weight (viscosity) makes no diff to warranty coverage. They switched to all these light wt oils primarily to help increase gas mileage. Just my .02 :jeff:

They can't void the warranty unless they can prove that the oil you put in caused the problem.
Personally, I run 10w-30 AMSOIL in mine because it so hot down here most of the time. I use the FoMoCo filter though.
