Will a termi motor "fit" a 99 cobra?

My stock motor is toast. I found a motor from an 03 for cheap and was wondering if it would work in my 99? What all would I need for the swap?

It will transfer, I don't know what is all needed to make it work, but I do know you need all the hoses and brackets that deal with the supercharger and charge cooler.

You'll need the computer, the harness and the above mentioned. Are you taking the transmission also, or you sticking with the five speed

only if you use the T-56, even then, you can shorten the 5spd driveshaft.

You will need the radiator hoses, intercooler hoses, and pending if it comes with the engine harness or not, a few of the electrical connections. You can use your stock computer and engine harness, you will just have to modify it some. Takes maybe about 30 minutes.
03 DSG MACH - TT - Not fast enough
03 OW MACH - Slower than above
11 RR GT/CS - Slower than both of the above

It will only fit if you don't call it a "Termi" motor.

I suggest looking for a new transmission once you get the swap done. T-45's are not that great.

it will fit, the wiring especially for the fuel pump will be a PITA. also you'll have to remove your factory pats module and wire around it and have the pats in the 03 eec module turned off (can be done with a chip) you'll want to install an 03 cobra fuel hat so you can run the dual pumps.
oh, and you'll have to turn the IAC around t make the factory hood clear if you remove the liner under the hood. and as far as the driveshaft, going from a t45 to a t56 you'll need the front yoke from the cobra driveshaft and then have your driveshaft shortened and the yoke installed.... or, you can run your t45 and wait a week or two for it to blow up

it's mostly about the torque... oh and disregard the IAC thing, for some reason i thought you were talking about swapping into a 98 cobra... that said, i'm not positive if it will fit under your hood or not, but it should.
