will tires fit

i want to get 17x9s but right now i have 17x8s, will the tires i have now fit the 17x9s, or do i need different tires?? i have 245-45-17 on right now

They will fit but I would get 275-40-17's ASAP!!! 245's are just not wide enough for my taste and watch out for curb-rash...

so can i buy 275-40-17put them on my 17x8s and then when i get my 17x9s just switch them?

yeah but its a pain in the butt, more work than necessary.. just store the 275's til you the the 9"ers, thatd be my suggestion
