This guy didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Him: "Do you have a cam?"
Me: "No that's just an exhaust leak"
Him: "Oh, well it sounds good"

I need to find more people like that

I have an idea involving a stock, non-functional Z28 catback, but Brit won't let me :whipped2:

Further into detail...

I'd cut my exhaust after the axle and have it open. I'd then hang a stock Z28 catback with the muffler cut to where there's only something on the back. In other words if you looked at my muffler from under the car, you would see only the back portion so it appears I have a muffler from behind. I would make about $400 selling the Borla and i'd lose about 20lbs off the car.

Electric cutout was my original plan, but they have big time quality issues, like crapping out after a month. And since my Borla is wide open now, having the i-pipe dump after the axle wouldn't increase the volume too much. I hope not atleast. I could always weld in another bullet muffler somewhere. Can't get enough of those

they make manual cutouts, you just pull up on it and BAAM open, just like the electric w/o the wire bullshit.

the borla has that built in....you can make it run though the muffler or out the other side without touching the muffler

the electronic cutout is sweet cause you could do it right as you finish the burnout....

So you can open it from inside your car or are you talking about the one that you unscrew the 3 wingnuts?

Only thing I like about Borla is the sound. I won't miss the tips too much. So I'd probably gain $300 after all is said and done, lose 20lbs or so, have worse looking tips, and be a little louder. Hmmmmmmm

But of course, if someone comes up from NB or something, asks to run anyone in the lot, I point to my car, he sees the stock catback, he'll probably just laugh. Moments like that might be worth $300 alone
