I'm looking to buy a 2001 Bullitt Mustang (no clones) as soon as I find one. I'm really only looking for a Green one without a wing, but I would also consider a black one. It must have <100K miles and be in great condition.

How much are you looking to spend?

I'm looking to spend around 15k or less on one. I've been seeing some on craigslist for 10k to 20k but have been unable to get any of those guys to respond to my emails. I guess what I'm willing to spend really depends on the shape and mileage of the car.

I'm no millionaire collector or anything, just a 25 year old who can finally afford the insurance on my dream car.

My sister bought one new and I loved driving it, but she sold it without telling me.

At the most, I'd pay 16k for one. I don't care how low the mileage is, it's a 7 year old car, and just because it's a Bullitt, doesn't make it "Gods Mustang" that deserves a high private resale price. A lot of the Bullitt owners are pretty snotty about their car. Try to pass it off like it's the most amazing machine ever built.

Lol, I'll keep that in mind , then I can say that David kid burned up my clutch hehehe. I bought a '90 300zx in Denton like 10 years ago....nothing is more fun than a high speed (uhmm 70mph) inaugural blast down 35! Hey, I could get lucky, that's where my sister was living when she sold hers. *Reminiscing about driving her bullitt in downtown Dallas listening to the exhaust echo off the buildings*

Thx for the heads up. I emailed that guy a couple days ago, but he still hasn't gotten back to me. I'd really rather get something a little more stock and do the mods myself. Thats a lot of fun for me. Plus, no offense to the owner....but someone with that many mods has probably ragged on it pretty hard. I found one in Arlington with only 34k miles on it, the price is high, but it's in bone stock form.

You can buy my black bullitt for 10,000 with 87k+ miles. 4.10s, jlt ram air, sct tuner, tri-ax shifter, magnaflow o/r x pipe, grille delete, 0 dents (someone hit driver fender and it was fixed), runs 13.1 with drag radials rest is stock but has holes in trunk where dealer I bought from put a spoiler on in 05.
