I didnt look at the pics sorry just going by the year. So it has already benn defaced and therefore devalued even further. OH Well good luck with it LMK if ya need any thing for the interior I have a complete interior that wont be going back in my car.
I also have a coml=plete set of 4 lug frt disc brakes and control arms (frt) just in case ya have a use for um cuz I dont... Hope they can get ya the title

can't remember why people don't like the 86's....something about the motors in them.....can't remember if it was the block or the heads....but you can't mod them like the 79-85s and 87-95s.....maybe someone else can shed some light...

Check out some books on it, before getting yourself signed up for a project you may end up not having fun with ... people people people...he understands that the car wont be in the best shape. KEY WORD PROJECT CAR!.i dont know why you guys are telling him he cant find it. I was told the same thing about my car. "what you cant get one for that cheap" is what eveyone told me but i got one like i wanted it. Just be patient and one will come along. there will be a lot of shit to go through but just keep waiting and have your money ready and youll get it.

86 had e6 heads... 87 had e7's.... see a pattern there? speed density was from 86-88 after which they went to mas air.. i really dont see the big deal.... later on when you're not happy with that motor, go blow it up and throw an 88 in there... forged pistons stock, e7's (not that bad with some port work) and a mass air conversion isn't that hard.. the hardest part is tracking down a good maf and a decent a9l or a9p....

i agree.. i bought a 4 cyl car because it's EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR... i paid $700 for mine, and i'm happy about it.. i got one that's in very VERY good condition for the price, and i wanted to do the V8 swap myself once i got another car to drive daily.. you can find a car for the price you want.. you're just wanting a decent powertrain rather than a decent body/interior like i was searching for...

that's what i did.. the auto tranny went out right after i bought it but i already had most of my 5 speed conversion stuff bought.. i spent a total of less than 2k on my car and i drive it 50+ miles a day and am about to take it to san antonio
