WTB 5.0 Fox

looking for a project car to learn on. not looking for anything that is pleasing on the eye. im just wanting something that will get me started. It needs to run. Auto or manual i dont care.needs to be 5.0 dont want to do 4cyl conversion.

lmk what you have. i have 1200 cash in hand, i figure thats a good place to start. foxes go for 1000-2500 in good running condition, so i know i can get one for under 2k. lemme know.

REALLY WANT A CARBED MOTOR
i dont really like the 4eyed foxes but a carbed motor would be more fun

That money will get you a rolller in maybe ok condition, but you gotta up the ante if your expectin to get a clean runnin fox.

yall are crazy... they sell all the time for around that price.. everyone on here just wants to charge an arm n a leg+ half the other foot for em.

im not looking for one that has good paint n nice interior.. or even a coupe. there is no reason why ppl should be asking 3k+ for a crappy one like every one tries to do on here.

did you check sundays paper?? there was a guy selling one last week that was aksing 2200....after I looked at it and left he called me back asking 1600... pm me I could probably find the number...maybe he still has it.

dude iv already seen like 3 on cl go for under 1k.. i was just to late. austin cl has lots of em.

1985 Ford Mustang GT- 5.0 - 5 speed
if they can produce a title i think i would go for it. i know i can get em down to like 500 for the price.

it would be cool to get a carbed one, and i bet all this thing needs to get running is some plugs, bat, carb rebuild and maybe an alternator n starter. the body is pretty good too except for the hatch

You'll find one but its prolly gonna be high mileaged, abused tranny, leak city powertrain.....and well you get the idea. But thats what ive been seeing lately for that price range. You get what you pay for.

the only reason it needs to run is so i can get the biyatch back to my house. and so i can leave it parked in the driveway n not get the city called on me.

actually they had it a while back for like 500-600....but look it has no title...have fun with that....I saw a 90 gt awhile back on cl for 1900.....looked pretty good....

your gonna get a 4 banger prob auto with 3 party title for less than 1000 ,may be 2500 and roller semi nice set up you know roll cage sus work etc.. but still 4-6 cyl.one on dfw 1700. 98 v-6 roller, 2 tone paint blk/red.not sure on title.

85 is a 4 eye my friend I guess it must be the low $$ that makes it attractive.

Oh I know youll do what ever one else does and put an aero frt end on it and RUIN it??....
