WTB: Interested in manual tranny for sn95

The car is a 2000 GT. Stock tranny is the t45.
I need something to handle 300rwhp/380rwtq with ease, 5 or 6 speeds.

Hey I got a T45, I am going to California on the 19th of JAN. By the way give me a call, I found the plug for the water pump and the remaining screws.

thesource: as always your input is appreciated. (though in this case i did know my options)

onesickmach (it's oscar, right?): i may very well be interested, but i felt what you were asking a bit much. that's awesome you found the rest of the stuff. and i called meziere about the electrical connector thing and it was exactly 20 bucks plus shipping anyways. happy to have done business with you. i'll call ya soon.

no cigar, where are you located? i will need the tranny within 2 months so no rush, but the car is in cali right now.

austin

it needs replacing, yes. i'm not knowledgeable on transmissions, so all i can say is that it has trouble shifting into all gears. it doesn't whine or pop out of gear once in gear though. i have to shift into reverse at a certain low rpm or it'll grind a bit. i don't know what this means though. except that it needs to be addressed!

I have a T3560
it's the six speed version of a T3550.
you can run smaller gears and still get good gas milage. being you are a SN95 your speedo should be mechanical if I am not mistaking. This means pull you VSS from yours, put it on this and bolt it in.
if you interested.

I asked this on the other thread , seriously what is a T3560 because I have never heard of it ? Are you confusing it with a T3650 which is not a 6 speed but is a 5 speed Ford replaced the T45 with in late 2001 ???

Not trying to bust your nuts but I'd hate for someone to buy this unit thinking its a 6 spd when its really not that at all .
