WTB: Oil Filter Adapter for 99-04
It's specifically for an 02 GT.
It's the aluminum part that mounts between the block ant the oil filter. It houses the oil pressure sensor. The lower radiator hose is a part of it as well. Thanks. If anyone needs pic of what it looks like just let me know so I can get one for ya. -Los |

Why do you want one, they are prone to leaking?
I have an OEM gasket though, 3 in fact. I had the coolers too but sold them to e-bay.

I've searched around and it appears that they are prone to leaking. I already have a gasket, I thought that's where the leak was coming from. I took a closer look and saw that there's a tiny crack at the bottom where the pressure sensor is it. I cleaned it up and waited a little while and sure enough a little bead of oil came out. It's a slow leak, but it's a leak that needs to be gone. I havent called the dealer yet because I really dont want to get raped over a part that would be like 50 bucks if a retailer sold it. I was hoping that someone parting out a motor probably had one lying around.
I hate to do this, but I am going to take the part out, clean it up real good and jb weld it till I can find a replacement. It should be fine, but I just dont like "bandaids" on the car, they tend to wear off. |

I have sold the ones I have had, but if you check here, you will find what you need. These are all physically the same, the only difference is the location of the oil sending unit. The early years had the sender to the front, the later years had the sender to the rear (like yours), but they still work, there is enough wire in the harness to relocate the sender.

I have had success that way too.
