To be original , he's going to need to find a 5 bolt early 289 block to build . If not then any 289/302 based set up will fly .

Sorry about the delay in response. At first he wanted to stay original, but for now he is willing to go with what will work best. Ill let him know what you guys said, and i will post up for him.
