WTS: 1986 GT hatchback. Parts car.
Unless I can find somewhere to store it, this baby is finally gonna have to go. I can't store it any longer.
Front end is totalled. Interior was damn near immaculate. I'm moving soon, and hence this car must move soon as well. Like, very soon. The car is fixable, for a long term project. It had a similar accident years ago and was fixed up REAL nice. I've been keeping it with that intention, to get it fixed again, but I just cannot store it anymore. Lookin for someone to take it off my hands. 1986 GT, Maroon, Hatchback. I'll get some pictures posted up if anyone is interested in this. I will let it go pretty cheap.

Alright, here's some pics.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Prewreck pics shown below... I also have these for sale. 16x7.5, 225/60/16 17x9, 275/45/17 I'm not 100% sure on the tire sizes, but I believe that's correct. They are buried deep in my storage, so I didn't want to move everything just yet to get them out. ![]() ![]() They were last used on this car (85GT) before I sold it. ![]() But were originally bought for the 86GT... and I guess I'll include some pre-wreck pics of the 86... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The car was in the middle of a Mass Air Conversion.. I had the kit ready to go, just hadn't installed it yet. That's why its got the MAF CAI instead of the Speed Density CAI. Some pics of it in the shop after it got fixed/painted... before it was wrecked again... ![]() ![]() ![]() The car was a looker, for sure. It has a 302, 8.8 rear with 3.73s. T5 tranny. The car will run with a battery and some fresh fuel, etc. Shortly after the wreck, I had to move the car a short distance in order to get the Cobra R's off of it.

The passenger side is crushed pretty well. Without taking it apart, you really won't know the full damage though. I had a similar accident that required a LOT of work to fix the car. It seems that this one is not as bad as the previous though... it looks like the Strut Tower Brace that I put in after the first wreck actually kept most of the damage in the front half of the engine bay. But like I said, you never really know til you break it down. I do know the alignments on the door, etc is pushed back...
The last accident I had was very similar. I bought a donor car for real cheap that had never been wrecked, and the shop chopped off the passenger side front "frame rail" and did a damned good job welding the donor parts in. The same may be needed for this car, if this car is to be fixed. That's why I've had the car sitting for about 4-5 years now.

There is no asking price yet, because like I said, I have no idea what this is even worth.
Also because the car may be heading to my friend's place... Anyone is free to PM me an offer on it. My buddy has done me a lot of favors though, so he definitely gets first dibs on it, if he still wants it. In the wrecked pics, it appears to be missing kick panels and other interior pieces. They are all there, sitting in the back seat. I had to remove them to remove the CD player (which was installed in the blue one, and eventually sold). I used to be a smoker, but this car has never been smoked in. The smog pump has been removed. I forget the brands of most of this stuff as it has been a long while since I even thought about the car... Mods: Shorttube Headers Pro 5.0 shifter (hurst handle) Autometer tachometer with shift light. 3.73s offroad H pipe flowmaster mufflers, original 40 series. Saleen Aluminum pedals lowering springs (front only). Don't remember brand or height drop... sorry. See the pics. underdrive pulleys. There may be more... that's all I can remember for now. Damn--- the more I look at this car, the more I wanna keep it. Haha.
