in the McAllen area there are two places that i would reccomend. One place is Jesse's Muffler shop off of McColl St and Bus 83. They did my X pipe install along with my Dynomax Bullets on my 01 GT. I took my snake over to Three star Muffler on Beech St. and Bus 83 (right next to Furniture Factory Warehouse old location). They do a lot of my buddies who have snakes as well. So i hope this helped ya out

Thanks Ujio, did they actually make the x-pipe or was it aftermarket prefabricated? how was the x-pipe cost wise for the 01 gt? :jeff:

I like Jesse's Muffler. He's done work on my '96 and my '84. Good work, just make sure you tell him in advance so they do a good job.

Yes it defenitly felt somewhat quiker after the install, not to mention the nice louder tone it gained. I went in the shop & noticed that they were only going to put an x pipe in place of the stock h so I had them go ahead & remove the catts & intall straight pipe. I can get some simulators fot the check engine light but they are a little pricey a pair. :jeff:

good to hear that you got it done! You could just get a programmer. They are pricey as well but they do so much. If you wanted to change gears later you could use your programmer to adjust the ratio instead of buying a speedo cal. Plus they are pretty sweet to tune around with and mess with. If you need a hook up shoot me a PM and that goes for any LSS member

Next time you are in the valley you should shoot me a PM maybe you can cruise with some of the locals around here :jeff:
