xcal2 question
are all sct xcal2's the same? for example, if i buy an xcal2 from someone who used it on a 2006 GT, can i use that same tuner on my 2005 V6 if i uploaded new tunes?

just make sure he unlocked it then you can buy a new tune for your car. if the person didnt unlock the xcal you will have to pay extra to have it unlocked and then pay more for a new tune.

70$ for a tune. plus __ for the unlocking (not sure how much it is). i dont know...
if its unlocked already you can take it and just get 1 tune for 70

I bought mine from LFP out of Houston. It came with (2) custom tunes that they upload on it for you. You just tell them your mods and they can program it for your specific mods. They gave me a cold weather and a hot weather tune. Since then I got a ported blower and that required a dyno tune. It is an amazing programmer, I highly recomend it.

ya if you buy it new its 379 (plus no tax if you buy it out of state online) and you get 3 tunes and you can tell them what tunes you want (gas saver, performance etc) and what gas you want the tunes for. goto justin at vmptuning if your going to get it new.
