Don't buy them from VT. Get them from Cushman Motorsports. (the stage 2 cams)

Classifieds are a wonderful place to shop on many forums, just my 2 cents.
I bought 50% of my stock that way.

Ive seen a 96 pi swapped with 4.10s run 13.2 on MT drs. So that 03 gt should give you no problem once your through.

yeah right, thats why i know people with 4.30s in machs and GTs that still get 24 mpg

3.73s should be reserved for blown cars, nitrous 2v, or low revving n/a motors

I have 3.73s, it holds the car back alot

I got 3.73s and I only get like 16-18 mpg, but it is still untuned and I hammer it every day just as I did before the engine and same mpg.

people usually drive much different as the add mods. Though they thing they drive the same.

I have 3.73s and when i first put the heads on i got around 13 mpg. Now that I have had them for 3 years I get around 20 because i nave no need to feel how fast the car is, I know.

point is, though you cruising at a higher rpm on the highway, It still takes the same amount of power to move youe 3400 pounds down the highway. You can actually improve gas mileage with 4.10 gears arousn town. You have more tractive effort and you dont need to apply much throttle. Most people dont react this way when they go form 3.27s to 4.10s
